Refund Policy

REFUND POLICY

 

To confirm a place in a course or workshop payment must be received five working days before the start of the first class.

The Pencil Room will refund course fees in full if a class is cancelled or postponed by The Pencil Room.

Where notice of withdrawal from a course is given at least three working days prior to the start date of the course the student will receive a full refund less a $25 administration fee. Eg. The course/class begins on a Monday, notice must be given by the end of the Tuesday prior.


Where notice of withdrawal is given less than three working days prior to the start date of the course the student will receive a 75% refund less a $25 administration fee.


If the course has not reached the half-way mark at the time notice of withdrawal is given, a refund of 50% of the remainder of the course will be issued, regardless of prior attendance.

OR

In the instance a student cannot complete a course that has not reached the half-way mark due to illness or injury, placement in classes the following term may be offered to make up the remainder.


No refunds will be issued for courses that have reached or passed the half-way mark at time of notification, regardless of prior attendance.
